IMO Level Detectors are used for the practical level monitoring of conductive liquids such as water. Essentially, substances that flow become horizontal in their enclosures due to gravity, and as such, they can be measured. The WLC series is ideal for measuring point levels of a wide range of conductive liquids including corrosive liquids such as various acids, ferric chloride, caustic soda etc.
A probe must be used in conjunction with the level detector. The SK1-140 is an insulated probe which will allow it to touch the tank containing the liquid without making electrical contact, whilst ensuring contact with the fluid. Ultrasonic options are also available.
