Virginio Nastri has been developing and constructing handling systems for the manufacturing industry since 1964. Today, they design, produce and deliver over 20 handling systems every day, supplying over 60 countries around the globe. Amongst the many different types of handling systems they produce are robotic conveyor belt systems, one of which they recently featured at the recent PLAST exhibition (one of the most important exhibitions for the plastics and rubber industry) in Milan. The featured conveyor system is managed by an IMO XGBU Programmable Logic Controller, which is controlled via the IMO iView advanced Human Machine Interface. The engineers at Virginio Nastri have created a special window in the conveyor's control panel which shows the screens (and thus the status) of the four IMO SD1 Variable Speed Inverter Drives that control the main motors in the system. Over the years, and through the supply of other highly reliable components, IMO has become a tier 1 supplier for Virginio Nastri, and naturally we are very proud to see our products used within such a market-leading product.
